Lightsabers
A lightsaber is a Jedi's weapon. Lightsabers are small, hand-held weapons that emmit a beam of light that can slice through a durasteel door. Lightsabers come in many differnet shapes and sizes. Darth Maul uses a special Sith-made Lightsaber with two blades. It can be used in single blade mode (below left), or in
double bladed mode for maximum fighting capabilities (below right).
Battle Droids
Battle Droids are the main weapon
of the Trade Federation. Battle Droids require no sleep or food, so they are virutally
needless. They carry Blaster Rifles (shown below) on their backs, but some have
guns built into their hands to reduce weight. Battle Droids are commanded from the T rade Federation Battle Cruiser (also known as a Droid Control
Ship) and cannot survive without it.
Destroyer Droids are fast moving, rolling droids. Destroyer Droids have guns mounted on to their hands and have deflector shielding that makes them nearly invincible.
